About the Creator

My name is Celinith Melendez. I'm 17 years old. I was born on May 5th 1991 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. My parents are Hiram and Gladys Melendez. When I was only one, my little brother Jesus Ali passed away. He was premature. He only lived for three days. Because of this incident, we moved to a little town called Schenectady located in New York. There I created my life. My little sister Celinette, who at the moment is 15, and little brother Hiram who is 14, were born. My father became a pastor in a big church where there were about 100 members. After fourteen years living in Schenectady, we moved to Brooklyn, New York because my father got transferred to a different Church called Uncion Divina. I am currently attending New Utrecht High School and next year I will be a senior. I plan to go to college. Currently I am living life as a young teenage girl should - to the fullest. I chose to do this Website about Frank Buckles because he is the last known surviving veteran who served in World War I. He is 107 years old and stronger then ever. Making this website was a great honor, and I hope you benefit from the website.
