Most professional dancers have been dancing since they were young children. They got involved in dance schools and developed their talent throughout high school and maybe into college. For example, Laguardia High School is a talent-based high school and dance is one of the programs where teenagers perfect the art of dancing. Dance takes a large toll on the body. Most serious dancers train for at least eight hours a day! Being involved in Dance classes and/or talent based high schools gives you a better opportunity to be noticed by dance companies or scholars. So, if you would like to become a professional dance or get noticed, I suggest you follow up on getting involved in dance classes.
