Pharmacologists are specialists who develop and test drugs for medical use. Their scientific method involves analyzing chemicals and other substances to identify the positive and harmful effects the chemical or substance has on humans and/ or the environment. The purpose is to end currently incurable diseases and/ or developing new therapies for that certain disease. Most pharmacologists specialize in one of several areas in pharmacology. Pharmacologists specialize in determining the site and structure by which drugs act to better perfect the therapeutic effects of drugs in the body. Some pharmacologists specialize in particular parts of the human body.
