Mrs. Tara McKeever-O'Sullivan joined New Utrecht High School in Spring 2006 in the Art department. Mrs. McKeever moved on to teach Web Design and Wood Materials Processing as a Technology teacher. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from the State University of New York College at Oswego, and earned her Technology Teaching Certification at The New York City College of Technology. Previously, Mrs. McKeever spent nine years at a Soho-based advertising firm. As an adjunct, she has taught Web Design classes at La Guardia Community College and The Borough of Manhattan Community College.
Outside of the classroom, Mrs. McKeever enjoys an active lifestyle both in Manhattan and Cold Spring, NY. She completed two marathons; one in Dublin, Ireland, as well as the New York City Marathon. She enjoys creating art and working in crafts in her free time. Much of her inspiration is drawn from family, friends and the majestic beauty of the Hudson Valley.
